DETAILS FOR THE CHALLENGE
THE TIME FOR MAKING SHORTS IS OVER THE START OF MAKING MOVIES HAS BEGUN
ODDBALLS TRICKS & TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR MOVIE IN 28 DAYS
- 1/ FORMAT OF FINISHED FEATURE FILM
- Your film must be no longer or shorter than 70min and all movies must include your opening credits and end credits and all music must be un copyrighted only no covers of tracks will be used in your movie , and all actors & crew have signed a release form to you to use their image in your movie , as people fall out and people can be funny about their image , so please beware and get everyone to sign releases before you shoot anything
- Films can be shot on any digital format you wish as long as you hand it in on a PAL dvd copy of your film no (Blue ray please) all completed feature films must be handed in or posted before the deadline of the 28th Feb. at the ICA CINEMA London by noon the 28th Feb. or your film will not be seen by the judges or screened in the event , so please beware of late arrivals (GET IT IN EARLY)
- YOUR FILMS CAN BE IN WIDESCREEN 16.9 OR LETTERBOX 4.3 IF REQ
- PLEASE LET US KNOW AND PUT IT ON YOUR DVD OR MINI DV TAPE
- Please note we will be anouncing our judges over the following weeks

TEAMS WILL BE ASKED TO EDIT A MOVIE STYLE TRAILER TO PROMOTE THEIR FEATURE FILM WITHIN A WEEK AFTER YOUR FILM HAS BEEN HANDED IN ON THE 28TH FEB 2010

YOUR THEN BE ASKED TO (UPLOAD YOUR TRAILER TO OUR YOUTUBE PAGE (COMING SOON)

YOUR MOVIE'S TRAILER MUST BE BETWEEN 1 - 3 MIN MAX & IT MUST PROMOTE YOUR MOVIE

ALL TRAILERS WILL BE SCREENED ONLINE BEFORE THE SCREENINGS & TO THE JUDGES

THEY WILL ALL BE SCREENED TOGETHER TO THE AUDIENCE @ THE SCREENINGS

THE BEST TRAILER WILL BE PICKED BY THE AUDIENCE

THE WINNING FILM WILL BE SCREENED IN THE ICA AS THE MAIN PRIZE
THE EVENT IS ABOUT MAKING A FEATURE FILM IN 28 DAYS
