BRITISH FILM-MAKERS LOST IN CANNES ARE FOUND NAKED, ALL OVER THE WORLD, ON E!
A 4-person British Film Crew that wrote, produced, shot, edited and premiered their film on Cannes biggest yacht in just 24hrs during the Cannes Film Festival 2005, will be featured in a new series on E! Entertainment alongside the cream of Tinseltown stars, which starts this Monday 6th June at 7.30pm and runs nightly at 7.30pm and 10.30pm until Friday 10th June, with omnibus airings on Saturday 11th at 5pm and Sunday 12th at 9.30am.
The programme NAKED CANNES on Sky Channel 193 will be broadcast in over 50 countries worldwide, and over 6 episodes, will chart the antics, stresses, successes and sheer luck of the team that is made up of Director Rudolf B, and Actors Darren Darnborough, Kelly Ashton and Mahny Webster.
Their film LOST IN CANNES somehow managed to attract a Celebrity Chef's restaurant, Christophe Leroy; the stunning new electric vehicle Bi-Scot; the hottest yacht in Cannes, Le Diamant; and France's premier Ragga Star Lord Kossity, who is releasing an album later this year on Universal, alongside a duet with acclaimed artist Shaggy. The film was made as part of the Oddball Challenge in Cannes, with a guaranteed screening at the UK Pavillion to industry execs, Celebs, and the likes.
The Film-makers managed to convince Lord Kossity to take the role of a suspected Gangster, after meeting the award-winning French PR firm Dragon Tortue in the first hour of their challenge.  Owner Sophie Dessallien, a master at developing products and human forces, pulled all the strings possible to co-ordinate everyone and everything within a couple of hours, to help Rudolf and Crew take their film to a higher level.  E! Entertainment were present at every corner, watching the story unfold.
The film, which was edited right up to the last minute of the clock, features an original music score by Guy Theaker, and a freestyle acapella sample of one of Lord Kossity's freshest tracks.
However, things were not always that smooth.  At the premiere screening, technical difficulties experienced by the event organiser at the UK Pavillion, led to the Team withdrawing their film from the competition.  As they had successfully made the film in 24 hours, the producers of NAKED CANNES challenged our film-makers to hold a more elaborate premiere within 24 hours......
Exactly 24 hours later, aboard the 6-storey yacht Le Diamant, invited guests from the world of film and TV were sipping champagne around the on-deck pool, in anticipation of the Lost In Cannes screening in the ship's impressive cinema.  Attended by Lord Kossity and his entourage, fresh from a TV appearance on the beach in Cannes, and in Paris, the film went down a storm, and the party continued to the early hours.
Now back in the UK, the film-makers and 30-strong team that have built up around the project are looking forward to seeing the whole effect of their sleep deprivation in NAKED CANNES over the next 6 weeks.
