Johnnie
Oddball , known to some as the ìChe
Gueveraî of the Low to-no budget film making world has
decided to bring his creation the 48 hour Challenge to France and
to the talented filmmakers of Paris for the 1st time ever .
The film makers have just 48 hours to complete a 5 min film
Professional filmmakers from the UK and France will
judge the entrants and the top ten films from this
year's event will be screened at international film
festivals and film industry events around the world
in just three years the event has produced over
800 short films from GERMANY - BULGARIA - UNITED KINGDOM - FRANCE - USA

Espagno / Organizers of the Paris event
Diplômée de l'Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse,
Claire Espagno a démarré sa vie professionnelle en tant
que Responsable des ventes internationales et du marketing pour une société
de production. Après une formation en production de films d'animation,
elle a été assistante puis chargée de production
dans diverses sociétés comme Le Studio Ellipse, Carrère
Télévision, Gaumont Multimédia,
Elle s'est ainsi occupée de l'établissement des plannings
et des budgets de divers projets de séries ou de longs-métrages
d'animation. Puis elle a occupé le poste de directrice de production
sur le long-métrage " CORTO MALTESE " pour Le Studio
Ellipse, sur deux séries et un long-métrage pour la société
Millimages, et enfin sur la série " FLATMANIA " pour
la société Futurikon, où elle s'est également
occupée de la coordination d'écriture et des relations avec
les différents co-producteurs et diffuseurs, en assurant ainsi
la production exécutive. Elle a parallèlement écrit
plusieurs scénarios pour des séries d'animation. Claire
Espagno est actuellement en train de monter sa propre société
de production, T-lem Abbey, en partenariat avec Cyril Tysz. C'est dans
ce contexte qu'elle a rencontré Johnnie Oddball à Cannes,
a trouvé son enthousiasme communicatif et s'est proposée
de l'aider à organiser un marathon de court-métrage à
Paris.
